# Terms & Conditions
The general terms under which GNB Roofing Services provides quotes and undertakes work, and the terms on which this website is provided.

## 1. Who we are
These terms apply to work carried out by GNB Roofing Services (Neil Cockman), trading from 6 Gilbard Road, Norwich, NR5 8TR.

## 2. Quotations
All quotes are provided free of charge following a site survey. A written quote is issued within 3–4 working days of the survey and is valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless we state otherwise in writing. The quoted price is fixed for the work specified; additional work identified after start (for example, rotten deck timbers not visible at survey) will be discussed and agreed with you in writing before it is carried out.

## 3. Acceptance
A contract is formed once you accept the quote in writing (email, signed quote or SMS confirmation) and we confirm a start date.

## 4. Payment
Payment terms are agreed in writing on each quote. For domestic work the standard basis is payment on satisfactory completion. For larger or longer-running works a materials deposit may be requested; this is always stated on the quote before you accept.

## 5. Guarantees
Sika Plan and other approved single-ply installations carry a 20-year product guarantee registered with Sika Limited, plus a 10-year workmanship guarantee provided by GNB Roofing Services. Repair works and roofline (fascias, soffits, guttering, cladding) installations carry a workmanship guarantee as stated on your quote. Guarantees do not cover damage caused by third-party works, structural movement, alteration by others, or events outside our reasonable control (including storm damage beyond product wind-uplift ratings).

## 6. Insurance
We hold Public Liability and Employer's Liability insurance. A copy of the current certificate is available on request.

## 7. Cancellation
If you are a consumer and enter into the contract off-premises, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of acceptance. If you request work to start within that period, you may be charged for work already carried out if you then cancel. Full cancellation rights are set out on your written quote.

## 8. Website use
The content of this website is provided for general information only. Every effort is made to keep it accurate and up to date, but we make no warranties as to completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing on this website forms a binding quotation; only a written quote issued after survey does.

## 9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
